* After many discussions on the Show Dog List regarding ways to present a united front and raise awareness of how anti-pet legislation affects every pet owner - not just dog owners - we decided to wear purple (or any bright colour!) grooming aprons bearing our embroidered message on the front around the shows when not in the ring, as they are obvious enough to spur conversation and spread the word, and voila! Project: Purple Apron was born :-)
